It was important that this mural be bright, fun and inviting as well as to help increase their attention and overall ability and willingness to learn in this environment. I painted these charming animals with bright colors based on color theory to increase attention, feeling of welcoming, and to increase conversation, creativity and happieness. I also added 3-D and tactile elements to invite the children to come up and touch the wall and talk about it. I believe that it is healthy to encourage children to touch and interact with their environment... rather than always saying "no no don\'t touch!
